Well, now I have thorough knowledge of Rocky Horror Picture Show, and I declined to watch the movie before I attended the performance, because I wanted to be as captivated as possible. Anyways, that is what a hair client of mine, who has acted in numerous stage shows, told me to do. I wasn't disappointed! We went to The Boom in Oklahoma City, where drag queens are known to perform all sorts of comedy, singing, and theatrics. The movie is a musical that was made in 1975, and it is a legend for its outlandish plot and characters. The movie oozes with sexuality with the main character Dr. Frank-N-Furter as an alien transvestite.
It really is crazy, but I loved it. The Boom did the show right by showing the original movie that created the cult following as a backdrop to live performers. If your curious like me and aren't scared to go perhaps a bit out of your comfort zone, I suggest giving it a try. After all, you can see great actors, like Susan Sarandon and Tim Curry, in the prime of their youth.
